February 25, 2016 (Estevan, SK) – In support of the mission to energize the Games, it was announced today that Kelly Panteluk Construction Ltd (KPCL) has been awarded a major sponsorship package for the Estevan 2016 Saskatchewan Summer Games to top off their naming rights of the new athletic facility.
At today’s announcement, Bernie Bjorndalen, Co-Chair, Friends of the Games Committee, welcomed KPCL as a Diamond Event Sponsor in addition to their naming rights at the rebuilt athletic field, Panteluk Athletic Field, which was completed in preparation for the Estevan 2016 Saskatchewan Summer Games.
“The Panteluk family have been huge supporters of communities in southeastern Saskatchewan for as long as I can remember. Many of the facilities that we boast about in Estevan can be attributed to the behind the scenes work of Kelly Panteluk Construction. Southeastern Saskatchewan now has a first class athletic field, courtesy to Kelly quickly stepping up to the plate when we approached him about working on the athletic field. He was steadfast in his belief that it was a worthy project, one that was worthy of doing well and a project that was going to have a significant impact on our community. With their contribution of well over $250,000 of in kind work, the Estevan 2016 Saskatchewan Summer Games Committee is pleased to announce that along with the new athletic field carrying the name of Panteluk Athletic Field, that KPCL will also receive a Diamond Event Sponsorship package and naming rights to the Volleyball Venue of the 2016 Games. “

The announcement of the sponsorship took place at the Leisure Services Centre, in front of the newly-erected Legacy Recognition Wall, which now displays the partnership between the Committee and KPCL. Brian Senchuk, Co-Chair of the Saskatchewan Summer Games comments, “It is hard to put a price tag on the value that they brought to this project. Their expertise in design, surveying and earth work was instrumental in developing a field that will last for generations to come.”
