September 19 - 27, 2015 marks the first ever official National Coaches Week in Canada! "As part of the Year of Sport inniative, the Canadian Coaches Association will begin hosting an annual Coaches Week to celebrate the tremendous positive impact coaches have on athletes and communities across Canada. Recognize your own coach by saying #ThanksCoach, or join in on one of the many events being offered across the country before the week ends!" - CAS
The coaches of the Saskatchewan Games are mostly volunteers who dedicate their time leading up to, and during, the Saskatchewan Summer Games or Saskatchewan Winter Games. There are 26 coaching positions for the Estevan 2016 Saskatchewan Summer Games per District. This means that Estevan could host 234 coaches over one week! We are grateful to have so many amazing, talented, and dedicated people to encourage and drive our athletes.
