One of the best parts of competing is to show everyone all the hard work you've been training for. Also, to cheer on my teammates.
People may not know that we train all year long with little time off during the summer. We train 15 hours a week, so there is a lot of commitment required for this sport.
This is my first time participating at a Sask Winter Games -- I have been to them before, but only to watch.
I am looking forward to seeing and meeting all the other athletes that will be there. I think it's going to be a great experience and I feel so lucky to be a part of it.
My goals for these Games are to try and do my best for Team South West.
My goals are to improve and learn new skills so I can qualify for Provincials.
There have been so many people that have inspired me and taught me how to keep working hard and help me to get where I am today.
