What are you most looking forward to in the lead-up to or during the 2022 Saskatchewan Winter Games?

  • I'm excited for the opportunity to meet all the folks behind the Games and to get a first hand experience of what it is like to host a larger scale event like the Saskatchewan Winter Games. As a spectator/attendee it's hard to grasp what goes into making the games a reality, and I'm excited to experience this and learn from it.

What’s your favourite sport (to play or watch)?

What do you hope to achieve as part of the 2022 SWG Host Committee?

  • I hope that we are able to create an incredible experience for the athletes and attendees of the Games. Being that it is the 50th anniversary with many firsts, I hope people are reminded of the importance of the Saskatchewan Games and what it means to young athletes, and that we are able to build the brand presence.

Why did you decide to get involved as a planning volunteer?

  • I was looking for a new challenge and a way to give back to the community that was different then I had in the past.

Why should somebody seek to get involved as a planning volunteer with the 2022 SWG?

  • We're the funnest committee :)

What's your proudest accomplishment?

  • Developing and implementing a coding and robotics program for kids in grades 5-8 at two First Nations reserves (Cowessess and Kahkewistahaw)

What's a fun fact about you?

  • I can speak three languages!
