Travel Update – 2026 Saskatchewan Winter Games Travel

The Saskatchewan Games Council continues to closely monitor significant snowfall in Meadow Lake and snowfall warnings across several regions of the province ahead of the scheduled travel for the 2026 Saskatchewan Winter Games on Wednesday, February 18

The Saskatchewan Games Council is actively working with the Host Organizing Committee and our transportation partners to assess road conditions and determine appropriate contingency plans. The safety of all athletes, coaches, officials, and volunteers remains our top priority per the Saskatchewan Games Council Safe Travel Policy.

Updated Travel Plans

• All routes have been delayed as of 7:30 AM on February 18.
• Specific updates about each route will be shared by each District Team Chef de Mission to their teams.
• Updates regarding travel from Meadow Lake will be available later today.
