The Saskatchewan Games Council is pleased to announce two contract job opportunities ahead of the 2026 Saskatchewan Winter Games, with one position available for Team Regina Coordinator and one position for Team Saskatoon Coordinator.

Saskatchewan Games Coordinator

Organization: Saskatchewan Games Council
Reports to: Provincial Games Consultant
Two positions: Team Regina Coordinator and Team Saskatoon Coordinator

Job Purpose

The primary function of the position will be to coordinate the logistics and administrative duties, team preparation, and promotion that is required to support the successful participation of Team Regina or Team Saskatoon at the 2026 Saskatchewan Winter Games that will be held in Flying Dust First Nation and the City of Meadow Lake from February 15-21, 2026.

The position will include recruiting mission staff and working with the Saskatchewan Games Council, the 2026 SWG Host Organization, and the Provincial Sport Organizations (PSOs) to effectively fulfill the position's duties and responsibilities.

Working Conditions

• The position is a Term Contract that will run from October 15, 2025 to March 15, 2026 (5 months).
• This is a remote position.
• Occasional weekend and evening work may be required, as well as travel within Saskatchewan.
• Full-time attendance at the 2026 Saskatchewan Winter Games as the District Chef de Mission or mission staff is required (February 15-21, 2026).
• The successful candidates will be required to provide a Criminal Record Check – Vulnerable Sector.
