2024 Saskatchewan Summer Games Legacy Fund Awards $152,500 to Local Organizations
Lloydminster, SK (March 6, 2025): The 2024 Saskatchewan Summer Games legacy continues to make an impact as the Games Committee proudly announces the distribution of $152,500 in funding to support Sport, Culture, and Recreation initiatives in Lloydminster and the surrounding Saskatchewan Rural Region.
With an overwhelming $850,000 in funding requests, the selection process was highly competitive, reflecting the incredible initiatives within our community. While the committee wishes it could support every applicant, it is proud to invest in these impactful programs, knowing this funding will enhance opportunities for residents to engage in Sport, Culture, and Recreation.
The 2024 Saskatchewan Summer Games were an incredible success, made possible by the dedication of our volunteers, partners, and community supporters. This funding represents a lasting legacy, ensuring that the spirit of the Games continues to inspire and benefit our community for years to come!
