Athlete's Village:

Estevan Comprehensive School (ECS) is located in the northeast area of the city. The school opened on September 18, 1969 offering courses at the grade 10, 11 and 12 levels. Grade 9 courses have since been added and grade 9 students from Estevan and many of the surrounding rural communities now attend ECS. Approximately 900 students are currently enrolled. 

Presently, ECS is the largest school in southeast Saskatchewan, with 60 teachers and 30 support staff. As a comprehensive school, a full range of classes in academic and technical subjects are offered. The mission of the school is the promotion of Excellence, Commitment and Success, with the underlying belief that if students make a commitment to pursue excellence, they will achieve individual success.

Games Lounge:

The Estevan Curling Rink is located in the central area of the City in close proximity to Affinity Place, the Souris Valley Aquatic and Leisure Centre and the Exhibition Grounds. It can hold up to 600 people and has been successfully used for many fundraising events in the past.

Opening and Closing Ceremonies:

Affinity Place is a multi-purpose entertainment and sports facility located in the central area of the City of Estevan. It is owned and operated by the City of Estevan Leisure Services Division.

Affinity Place opened its doors April 15, 2011 after 2 years of construction with an official grand opening event featuring Tom Cochrane and Kim Mitchell. It is home to the Estevan Bruins of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League, the facility also hosts concerts, trade shows, mixed martial arts, hockey, meetings, banquets and other large events.
