I was born and raised in Meadow Lake. I have been employed by the Northwest School Division since 2001 and I work with some of the greatest people, many of whom are on this committee with me! My husband Rob works for Diavik Diamond Mines north of Yellowknife. I have 3 children: Ashley (22) is just finishing her Bachelor of Education degree; Marissa (20) works for Meadow North Agencies; and Ethan (7) is a busy grade two student! I got involved with the summer games first of all because I love sports, and secondly, having been on provincial curling and provincial figure skating committees in the past, I know how rewarding these events are when we all come together as a community to put on the best show ever!
